The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized an online lecture on the management of negotiation skills and bargaining within the Rasana project.
The workshop, which is part of the middle management course, aims at refining the skills of the participant trainees and enriching them with information related to the administrative functions that employees need to practice at all administrative levels of the organization.
The lecture presented by Dr. Orouba Rasheed Ali included the concept of negotiation and why the employee should learn its skills, conditions, basic rules, methods, important tactics in the negotiation process, characteristics of negotiations, types and principles, the use of negotiating questions and how to lead the negotiating team.
In the end, the recommendation was the necessity of training and qualifying the cadres according to the latest findings of advanced organizations in the field of modern practices in administrative work, taking into consideration the specificity of the environment of Iraqi organizations.
