A research team consisting of the President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and a voluntary research team from inside and outside the university and from the Basrah Health Department, obtained a patent to produce a kit to transmit the emerging coronavirus.
The patent included several productions for the transmission of viruses containing a vector medium and isolation swab to use in isolating the emerging coronavirus, to be the second patent registered with the efforts of the research team led by the president of the university, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi.
