The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Iraqi Blind Association in Basra, organized a party on the International Day of Disability, with the participation of organizations of people with disabilities in the governorate.
The celebration included the playing of the national anthem, speeches by the organizers of the ceremony, a poem by the poet Abbas Al-Fraiji, and an exhibition for women with disabilities that included handicrafts, artistic paintings, and sewing projects, along with showing video clips of the activities of the participating association.
