We extend to our valiant Iraqi army our congratulations on the national anniversary of its founding, which summarizes a long history of defending the holy land of Iraq and evokes a lofty glory written by the martyrs and sacrifices of our victorious armed forces.
On this occasion, we cannot but to ask God to put His mercy on the martyrs of our army and all our security forces, and to protect Iraq and its army and perpetuate the victory of our people over its enemies from the remnants of terrorism.
