A joint team of the University of Basrah and the Ministry of Industry and Minerals inspected the headquarters of the Ur State Company to see the industrial and engineering problems that the company suffers from and work to find effective solutions to them.
The visit included a meeting with the General Manager of Ur Company, its advanced cadres, and the managers of the aluminum and plumbing factories and the coiling wire factory, to identify the most important problems it faces.
Dr. Muhammad Nasser Fares also confirmed that this visit comes within an integrated program that has been prepared to implement the decisions and terms of the scientific agreement signed by the University of Basrah with the Industrial Research and Development Authority in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, which aims to enhance the role of the university and its contributions in the field of solving industrial problems at the governorate level in particular, and Iraq in general, providing applied research projects for postgraduate students, in addition to marketing the expertise and capabilities of university professors in all fields and sectors to serve our beloved country.
