The University of Basrah hosted the Technical Conference for the Basketball Southern Region Qualifiers.
The conference aims to discuss and clarify the technical points of the championship in the presence of the president of the federation and the head of the referees committee in the federation.
On the sidelines of the conference, a lottery was held to determine the tournament system according to the league system.
