The Iraqi National Projects Olympiad (INPO) is a science project competition between primary, secondary and middle school students in the fields of physics, chemistry, social sciences, biology, mathematics, energy, computer, science, art, social science, and design.
The Iraqi National Projects Olympiad (INPO), is a leading science competition open to high school and middle school students in Basra.
The aim of this Olympiad is to improve students' creativity and scientific thinking, as well as the accuracy, skill and clarity shown in their projects, and to aid the growth of future scientists. INPO was first organized in 2005 in Arbil. Subsequently, the (INPO) was held in 2010 in Kirkuk.
Students from all over Iraq between the ages of 10 to 18 can participate in INPO and by organizing this event, Basrah Ishik Schools aim to emphasize and create awareness of environmental problems around the world.
Since 2005, INPO is the world's largest Olympic event based on projects and participants. Students from all over Iraq are making efforts to keep pace with development and save different world environments. Their common denominator is "the ambition of science".
It is worth mentioning that the Iraqi National Olympiad has been held in Iraq 16 times and will be held at Basrah University for the first time. Whereas, Ishaq Private School cooperates with Basrah University for the first time in the Iraqi National Olympiad.
The competition starts at 10:00 AM with an opening ceremony and ends at 17:00 PM on 17/3/2022 at the College of Fine Arts with an award ceremony. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in the hall located next to the College of Fine Arts.
Students who receive a high score over the course of the INPO, will participate in a higher level project.
