The College of Law at the University of Basrah has organized a wide campaign for afforestation and cultivation of green spaces. The Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs of the College of Law, Dr. Abdul Karim Khaled Enaya, said that the college launched a wide voluntary campaign to rehabilitate the gardens and corridors in the college in which a number of professors and employees participated. The campaign included planting a large number of different flower seedlings, cutting trees, landscaping the gardens, rehabilitating the irrigation water system and rehabilitating the corridors to add an aesthetic touch on the college.
The aim of launching the campaign is to spread the culture of voluntary work between the professors and employees and motivate them to preserve the vibrant university environment.
This campaign comes with a great cultural, environmental and aesthetic awareness and a sense of responsibility that was characterized by a spirit of brotherhood and joint cooperation between instructors and employees to serve the scientific process.
