During a tour in the Directorate of Disposal Waste and Management in the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abdul Sahib stressed on updating the work programs, enhancing the joint performance field with the Directorate of Industrial Research and Development and consolidating the planning policy with a procedural approach that achieves the required integration with state institutions and the private sector according to the requirements of the public interest.
Dr. Abdul Sahib urged to organize close periodic meetings involving the relevant Directorates to formulate the mechanism and the necessary steps regarding the scientific and professional ways to deal with the file of mines and waste and address its repercussions on the environment in general.
He directed heads of the centers to exploit maximum use of human resources, distribute and invest them in an accurate manner that prevents the deterioration of energies or disruption and achieves the desired benefit in light of the map of goals and tasks that fit the joints of the location that contains the Directorate of Disposal Waste and Management, its laboratories and research centers.
Dr. Abdul Sahib also toured the centers for quality control, occupational safety, specialized engineering support, research and evaluation and the related Sections in the fields of field detection, laboratory, chemical and biological detection, as well as the Aviation Technology Research Center in the Industrial Research and Development Directorate.
