The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized an electronic lecture on (Representations of the Alphabet of Iraqi Civilization in the Works of the Artist Dr. Qassem Mohsen), during which Dr. Qassem Mohsen presented an introduction to the journey of the modernist artist Qassem Mohsen.
The lecture discussed the techniques used in the canvas board, which looks like a sculpture, in addition to the type of symbols used by the artist from the civilization of Mesopotamia. It also referred to the collection of books authored by Dr. Qassem Mohsen on the authority of the founders of plastic art, Jawad Selim and Faiq Hassan.
It is worth mentioning that the artist designed many book covers including Under a Blue Sky and The Last Manifesto, and many other publications.
