Female teachers at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Basrah University participated in the Nobel International Conference on Inventions and Innovations, which was held in Erbil Governorate.
The participation of Dr. Maysam Hassan Ali included a patent entitled (The effect of using dried yoghurt as a locally manufactured probiotic and its comparison with the imported probiotics on some productive, physiological, immune and digestive characteristics of broilers), the second patent by Dr. Zainab Abbas Hassan entitled (Preparation of the new Schiff base derived from benzothiazole and vanillin as a candidate for the treatment of ischemia in the heart for male laboratory rabbits), and the third patent by Dr. Zainab Abdel-Wahhab, entitled (Preparation of a new pyrimidine derivative as a sugar and fat-reducing agent in laboratory rats).
The conference aims to encourage scientific research and patents and invest them in an optimal way in the service of science and society. The teachers have received participation certificates and golden medals, as well as the Shield of Excellence.
