The employees of the Public Relations and Media Department congratulated the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, for ranking the University of Basra first locally and thirteenth in the Arab world in the British Times classification for sustainable development.
The President of Basrah University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, thanked the department’s staff for this congratulations and presenting bouquets of roses, expressing his happiness with this great achievement that the university reached by winning first place over Iraqi universities in the Times classification and winning the Oscar at the level of Asia.
Shaheen added that reaching the top is difficult, but staying at it is even more difficult, but with the help of God we stayed on it for the second year in a row, and we pledge to God and our university cadres that we will move forward in order to achieve more progress in other global classifications. Finally, I thank everyone who had a participation in this great achievement.
