The instructor at the College of Education for Women at the University of Basrah, Dr. Ali Saddam Nasrallah, has published a book entitled "Banu Jami’, the Ministers of the Almohads and their fleet commanders."
The book, which included (158) divided into three chapters, shed light on the banarian family of Bani Jami' with Andalusian roots that played a major role in the time of the Almohad state from the beginning the end.
The author presented the most important positions held by Bani Jami family, including ministerial positions, governors of provinces, and commanding armies, especially the navy, because they excelled in leading the marine fleet of the Almohads.
