A delegation from the University of Basrah, representing its president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, participated in the eighth international scientific conference between the Hawza and the university, which was organized by the Center for Specialized Studies and was held at the University of Kufa in Najaf, in the presence of Hawza and academic figures from various Iraqi governorates, in addition to distinguished regional participations.
The Secretary-General of the Center for Specialized Studies between the Hawza and the University, Sheikh Qassim Al-Hashemi, expressed his thanks for the participation of the University of Basrah in this conference, as it is one of the oldest scientific and cultural edifices in the country and its fingerprints are clear in all cultural and academic fields.
