The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi Mahmoud, participated in the second conference of Arab university leaders, which was held virtually for the period from 23-24/5/2022 under the title “Towards a unified vision for Arab universities in achieving the goals of sustainable development.” 2030, which was established by the International Friendship Organization in the Kingdom of Sweden, with the participation of Victoria University in the United Kingdom, Swedish Crown University, Al-Quds University in Palestine and Al-Hilla University College in Iraq.
Dr. Salma Abdel-Baqi, a member of the scientific committee of the conference, chaired the first session, and the President of Basrah University presented, through his lecture, in which he participated in the implementation of the sustainable development goals and future visions of the University of Basrah and how to implement them.
