The University of Basrah held the Economic Forum between the Republic of Iraq and the Islamic Republic of Iran to study the frameworks of cooperation in the economic field in light of the success of the work of (science building companies) in the presence of the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Mahdi Safri, Mr. Ali Abdi, Consul General in Basra Governorate, and a number of university deans and academics.
The Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Zaki Abdullah Ahmed, stated that we received the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs and the General Consul in the governorate within the framework of the economic forum to benefit from their expertise in the field of nanotechnology and biotechnology, and we recommended them to provide all facilities for students and researchers who study in their universities so that they are immunized with the necessary science and knowledge to serve their country and university.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Affairs Dr. Mahdi Safri indicated that Iranian universities are ready for full cooperation in the scientific and economic field, as we own 30,000 companies specialized in medicine and technology, and we will put them at the disposal of stakeholders on the Iraqi side.
