A scientific study, titled (solving fractional differential equations through solving ordinary differential equations), was conducted at the College of Science at the University of Basrah by the instructor Dr. Iyad Raysan Khudair and the researcher Ahmed Fouad.
The study, which was published in the Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, classified within Scopus containers q2 at Springer Publishing House, showed the analytical solution of some linear differential equations using solutions of integer-order linear differential equations by converting the fractional equations to ordinary.
The results of the study concluded that this transformation leads to the removal of part of the solution, which is also found.
