A master's thesis at the College of Information Technology and Computer Science at the University of Basrah discussed the management of keys to protect the sensor network.
The thesis presented by the student Ghaith Abdul-Ilah aims to find an effective way to ensure the security of information exchanged in wireless sensor networks, taking into account the limiting characteristics of the sensor, by presenting two security schemes, one of which is to secure WSN for the hierarchical structure and the other to secure the flat architecture, and each of them focuses on providing high security by achieving data confidentiality and integrity, providing good resistance to complex capture attacks, and using sensor resources in an efficient way that balances the network in order to extend the life of the network.
