The College of Pharmacy at the University of Basrah obtained the ISO 9001 standard for its laboratories from the British Organization (BGDS) for Development and International Standards, which is an international company that grants ISO to government institutions through their representatives in the University of Basrah Office for Scientific and Consulting Services.
The Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Dr. Falah Hassan Shery, stated that the college attained this important criterion as a result of concerted scientific and administrative efforts and the quality of our scientific laboratories equipped with the best scientific and highly efficient equipment, in addition to the high quality standards that allow us to conduct experiments and research in the best and fastest ways.
It is worth mentioning that ISO 9001 is the most common quality management system standard in the world, which has been awarded to more than one million organizations in 180 countries around the world.
