The technical team of the Avicenna Center for E-Learning at the University of Basrah updated the educational platform of the university to the fourth version of the (Moodle) platforms to match the standards and specifications of international companies for education - open source.
Director of the center, Dr. Uday Bashir Issa, said, "The team completed the updating process in accordance with international standards and conditions to take advantage of the available tools and to know the new features and options available in (navigation) and (custom reports), and the introduction of modern technologies that facilitate the use of the platform for instructors and achieve more effective communication with students”.
Uday added - the educational platform (Let's Learn), with its updated versions, enables service improvements by adding (BigBlueButton) and (Question Bank) service to manage lectures by default in order to develop the electronic educational process.
It is worth mentioning that passing the course and updating the educational platform requires obtaining a minimum of 80% in order to be awarded the Moodle 4.0 management badge.
