The Educational Guidance and Psychological Care Center at the University of Basrah continues its voluntary campaign to provide moral, psychological and guidance support to the owners of the Husseini processions and visitors heading to the entrances to Karbala.
Regarding the developments of the campaign, which began with the beginning of the march from Basra Governorate towards Karbala about two weeks ago, the director of the center, Dr. Hana Sadiq Al-Badran, said, “The voluntary teams affiliated with the center, made up of the center’s staff and a group of instructors of the organizing colleges, are still providing their guidance and awareness services to the visitors of the Imam’s Arba’een in focusing on the moral aspect, self-preservation, modesty, and abandoning customs that contradict sympathy and sadness, as well as offering food and drink to male and female visitors heading on foot towards the shrine of Abba Al-Ahrar through the southern entrances to the city.
