The President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, opened two laboratories and a library in the College of Dentistry after rehabilitating and equipping them to accommodate the increasing number of students.
Hammadi ordered the preparation of the oral surgery laboratory with large screens and sound amplifiers, the electronic library with 30 laptops, the oral diseases and general diseases laboratory with optical microscopes, and the orthodontic laboratory with laboratory tools sufficient to prepare the students.
It is worth mentioning that the College of Dentistry witnessed comprehensive changes to its buildings through the recent expansion procedures, after the Presidency of the University of Basrah allocated the old building of the College of Arts in Bab Al-Zubair site to be an integral part of the college, comprising the first and second stages of the college students.
