The Vice President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Falah Hassan Shari, participated in the opening of the WHO office in the southern region which is considered a strategic office to supplement the health system in the governorate.
Dr. Falah Hassan stated that one of the tasks of this office is to strengthen the relationship between the Basra Health Department and the World Health Organization, follow up on the health situation in the governorate, and support health care and health security to confront communicable and epidemic diseases and pandemics, in order to take all preparations if they occur.
