The research and advisory team at the Educational and Psychological Counseling Center at the University of Basrah continues to provide advisory services to the Social Research Unit of the Basra Court of Appeal.
The director of the center, Dr. Hana Sadeq Al-Badran, stated, "The team of the center visited the Basra Court of Appeal as part of the cooperation mechanism to provide training and advisory services to the social researchers affiliated with the court. The team met with divorced families, their relatives and their children in order to solve the problems of children after divorce, whose faces showed sadness, despair and deprivation from the tenderness of the mother or father, not to mention their chronic feeling of anxiety, insecurity, isolation and unwillingness to speak in most of the samples that were examined by the specialized team, in addition to the team recording cases of neglect against some infants”.
