The College of Dentistry at the University of Basrah organized a field visit to Al-Oruba Primary School for Girls as part of the College of Dentistry service project for the academic year 2022-2023.
The visit, which was carried out by a team consisting of a group of dentists and a number of fifth stage students, included providing moral and health support, which included a comprehensive examination of the mouth and teeth for nearly 100 cases in order to diagnose the problems that some students suffer from and schedule appointments to visit the educational clinics affiliated with the college to receive appropriate treatments.
The visit aims to spread health awareness among the students by giving awareness lectures and health instructions on how to take care of oral and dental health.
The team distributed toothbrushes and issues of Sinbad magazine as simple gifts for the students.
