The College of Law at the University of Basrah organized a celebration on the occasion of Victory Day over terrorist groups and the liberation of Iraqi lands.
The ceremony included various themes, in the forefront of which was a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by listening to the national anthem, then reading Surat Al-Fatihah on the souls of our righteous martyrs, after which a speech was given by the President of Basrah University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, during which he demonstrated the great role played by the university in supporting the security forces of all kinds to defeat the terrorist groups (ISIS) recalling at the same time the heroic role of the security forces, asking God to grant the martyrs mercy and forgiveness and the wounded a speedy recovery.
