The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah participated in the University Fine Arts Festival hosted by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
The festival was held in Najaf Governorate, under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, with the participation of more than 44 public and private universities.
The festival included group and individual free drawing activities with various techniques, in addition to holding an exhibition of sculptural artworks, for students (Noura Muhammad, Jaafar Salem, Youssef Yafith, and Ali Muhammad).
At the end, the head of the participating delegation, Dr. Ghassan Habib, stated that the University of Basrah ranked fourth among the participating universities.
