The Assistant President for Administrative Affairs of the University, Dr. Ali Himdhi Diab, received the delegation of the French Embassy, which included the representative of the French Ambassador, Mr. John Christopher, the scientific and university cooperation attaché, David Lassig, and the advisor for cooperation and human activity, Pascal Ross, in the presence of a number of deans of colleges, advisors and department directors at the university.
The meeting discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi and French universities in the fields of agriculture, literature and languages.
For its part, the French delegation expressed its readiness for regional cooperation in the file of water management and modern agricultural technologies.
