The Continuing Education and Development Center at the University of Basrah organized a training and development course on management and work ethics in human resources management, with the participation of a number of employees of the University of Basrah and state institutions.
The course, presented by the researcher Maher Odeh Bustan, aims to define basic issues for understanding the tasks and role of human resource management, which is one of the basic functions of organizing the work of managing any organization.
The course included vocabulary on how to divide the position and responsibilities, analyze, describe and design jobs, plan the work force and attract workers through selection, appointment, compensation, reward, job evaluation, incentives and motivation.
The course showed the social relations between individuals and workers, mutual respect, application of laws related to human resources management, and the best completion of work to advance the achievement of the goals of the organization.
