The Educational Counseling and Psychological Care Center at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the College of Education for Human Sciences, organized a workshop on smart goals for the university student.
The workshop, which was moderated by Dr. Amal Abdel-Zaraq Al-Mansoori, aimed at introducing students to the importance of making smart goals and how to set them.
The workshop dealt with an explanation of the SMART criterion in measuring progress, success and failure, evaluating the reasons for failure, success and experience, and distinguishing between realistic and acceptable goals from those that are not achievable or not agreed upon by the group, with the need to set time limits for the duration of the plan and the alternative treatment.
