As a confirmation of the meaningful global integration and pursuant to the tasks undertaken by Iraqi universities in preserving the cultural and civilized environment of Iraq, especially universities that have obtained membership in the United Nations Academic Impact UNAI, the website of the international organization (https://www.un. org/en/academic-impact/university-actions-protecting-and-preserving-iraqi-heritage?mc_cid=fce4577f22&mc_eid=99ab047a33) commends the University of Technology's actions to protect and preserve Iraqi heritage by taking the initiative to establish the first historical preservation technology unit in compliance with its agenda and the goals of sustainable development and the design of a postgraduate program within the field of architecture and the implementation of the (UOT Virtual Museum) project to preserve and document the Iraqi heritage digitally.
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its university institutions affirm their relentless pursuit to frame cooperation at the global level, intertwine expertise, and employ human and scientific potentials to achieve qualitative partnerships, consolidate the impact, increase academic interaction, and respond to the sustainable development strategy that extends until 2030.
