The Division of Retirement in the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the abolition of the traditional system (Fox Pro) for retirement and replacing it with an electronic one, in the presence of authorized colleges and centers affiliated to the university and representatives of state departments.
The workshop aimed to train those authorized to use the electronic system for pension in order to shorten the time and routine in transactions while checking employee information and registering them.
The workshop included the distribution of user accounts to those authorized to work in university formations according to the program developed by the Ministry of Finance.
It is worth mentioning that the provisions of Clause (Third) of Article (V) of the Unified Retirement Law No. (9) of 2014 as amended stipulated the establishment of a database for state employees and retirees covered by the provisions of this law to ensure transparency and facilitate access to accurate information, as well as to be a basic basis for knowing the number of employees and their data.
