The University of Basrah announced the acceptance of the Iraqi Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which is issued by the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in Scopus containers, and it was approved after completing all the requirements.
Prof. Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, confirmed that the journal has entered Scopus after a great effort to provide all the requirements and work that continued for years by improving the performance of the journal and improving its citation record.
For his part, Dr. Haider Moaz Muhammad, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, indicated that this achievement is a qualitative and distinguished achievement for the College of Engineering and the University of Basrah.
Which enhances the scientific and academic sobriety of the college in order to obtain programmatic accreditation for all departments of the college, praising the efforts of the editorial board.
