The Department of Geographical Studies at the Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center organized a panel discussion on the optimal locations for industrial sites in Basra using Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
The panel discussion, which was moderated by the instructor, Huda Ahbeni Ashour, included identifying the ideal site for setting up industrial projects, the strategic goal of choosing the site, and the factors affecting the testing of the project site.
