The College of Education / Qurna at the University of Basrah organized a lecture on (protective action of thyme essential oil against histopathological changes and stress of oxidative action induced by cadmium salt in common carp fish).
The lecture included identifying the protective effect of thyme oil on carp fish exposed to different concentrations of cadmium chloride, and identifying the ability of thyme oil to reduce the toxicity of cadmium and through measuring cadmium concentration in each of the (liver, kidneys, gills and muscles).
