The Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Hussein Reshak, inspected the course of the examination process at the Center for Development and Continuing Education, and inspected the halls in the presence of the participating deans’ assistants, according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop and qualify the capabilities of university leaders and provide all services, pointing to providing all facilities for them to complete the examination process without obstacles.
The assistant president of the university for scientific affairs continued his visit to the Center for Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies, and was briefed on the ongoing work in the conference hall and the library, and inspected all departments and units.
Dr. Ali Hussein Reshak concluded his inspection visit with a tour of the Cultural Center and was briefed on the newly developed units, the multi-purpose hall and the various services it provides, as well as the experimental theatrical performances hall and the planetarium hall that hosts plastic arts exhibitions. He also reviewed the reading documentation unit and its scientific, literary and artistic books.
After his meeting with the directors of the centers, Reshak confirmed some issues that would improve the reality of the centers and the need to pay attention to all organizational and service matters, given that these centers are the interface of the University of Basrah to all governmental and other institutions.
