The College of Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on transmissible and skin diseases that could affect visitors during their journey to visit the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Alaa Khattar Moussa, explained that the symposium included scientific lectures by a number of doctors in various medical specialties to provide advice and guidance regarding diseases that could affect the gatherings during the Arbaeen visit.
It is worth mentioning that the lecturers presented ways to prevent these diseases, ways to avoid them, and how to maintain the health and safety of everyone.
