The University of Basrah established the cultural camp on Ya Hussein Road, Pillar 840, between Najaf and Holy Karbala, as an initiative by the dean and students of the College of Education for Pure Sciences.
The camp is considered an educational awareness camp whose goal is to spread the biography and beliefs of Ahl Albayt, peace be upon them, and to convey a beautiful picture of the students of the University of Basrah and their interests in cultural affairs.
The camp included a photo exhibition that explains the religion in a way that is popular with people and in a different way. There is a special corner that contains Qur’anic competitions and booklets about knowledge in the Qur’an. There is a Mahdawi corner that contains competitions and posters that explain the signs of the appearance of the Imam, the Hujjah, may God hasten his honorable appearance, as well as various religious and cultural books given to the visitors as a gift. In addition to a display screen showing short and influential films and posters explaining the sciences of Ahl al-Bayt and linking them to abstract sciences.
It is worth mentioning that the idea of establishing the cultural camp emerged from the student Woroud Imad in the College of Education for Pure Sciences.
