The Center for Marine Sciences at the University of Basrah organized an awareness seminar about "early breast cancer detection". The seminar, which was presented by Dr Zeinab Kamel Dahy, the head of the Early Breast Cancer Detection Division at the Basrah Health Department, the objectives are to provide a service to the community by raising awareness and educating people about the importance of early screening before the disease spreads.
The seminar covered the Symptoms of the disease, how it spreads, the available screening locations in the province, and the treatment methods used.
