The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Basrah organized a workshop about"the mechanism of auditing scientific journals" prepared for publication in repositories. The object of the workshop is to acquaint researchers, faculty, and promotion committee members with how to review journals. Dr. Basal Abdul Zahra and Dr. Tahseen Ali Saki from the College of Science presented methods for examining and auditing research submitted for promotions, including local and international journals, those indexed under global repositories, and predatory and commercial journals, taking into account promotion laws and associated instructions.
