The University of Basra discusses ((The effect of capital structure and capital expansions on maximizing the value of the company: profitability is an intermediary variable))
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra discussed a doctoral thesis in banking and financial sciences ((The effect of capital structure and capital expansions on maximizing the value of the company: profitability is an intermediary variable)) - an analytical study of a sample of companies registered in the Iraqi Stock Exchange for the period from 2010 to 2021.
The researcher's thesis (Mohammed Naeem Ajaj) aimed, in a dialectical and philosophical analysis, to demonstrate the effect of capital structure and capital expansions as independent variables in maximizing the company's value as a dependent variable through profitability as an intermediary variable.
The thesis concluded that capital structure and capital expansions still affect profitability, and that profitability affects the company's value, which means that profitability has full mediation and that the effect only occurs through it.
