University of Basra holds a scientific symposium entitled What's New in Dermatology
The Internal Medicine Branch at the College of Medicine at the University of Basra held a scientific symposium on dermatology under the title “News in Dermatology.” The symposium discussed developments in skin diseases and their impact on treatment methods and diagnostic methods. The symposium recommended the necessity of noting the uncommon and unusual symptoms of common skin diseases, as the disease may appear in an unusual way, which requires paying attention to such cases, disseminating them, and treating them in the correct ways. She explained that there are diseases that occur infrequently, but they exist in our society, and specialized doctors and trainees in dermatology must know them, record them, and inform other doctors about them. Dermatologists must have a high standard for discovering and diagnosing skin diseases and highlighting the possibilities of their presence in our society.
