Basra University is rehabilitating and operating Dairy products manufacturing plant
With direct support from the President of the University of Basra, Dr. Saad Shaheen
The dairy products manufacturing plant affiliated with the Food Research and Consumer Protection Unit at the College of Agriculture was rehabilitated and operated.
The factory’s products varied between yoghurt and cheese, which were subject to laboratory tests and conformed to Iraqi standard specifications.
The factory's current production capacity is 120 kg, and after connecting the large tanks, its capacity will increase to three tons per day.
The product will be presented in the marketing outlets of the College of Agriculture
At Bab Al-Zubair outlet, the marketing center, and the rest of the university’s outlets.
