University of Basra receives a grant for petroleum software licenses from PETEX
The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, Department of Petroleum Engineering, obtained a petroleum software licensing grant from the international company PETEX
After a series of negotiations and correspondence with the international company PETEX, which specializes in petroleum software, and through the mediation of HORIZON, the Petroleum Engineering Department obtained a grant of 7 licenses for petroleum software, worth three million three hundred and sixty-six thousand euros, free of charge, which will be installed on specialized computers.
The aim of the scholarship is to train primary and postgraduate students and researchers in the petroleum field.
