The lecture delivered by Professor Dr. Kazem Khalaf Al-Ali addressed several topics, including the beginnings of translation as mentioned in the story of the Tower of Babel, the necessity for the translator to be bilingual and bicultural, and the importance of the translator’s continuous preparation and training, practicing translation practically, and devoting himself to it. At the end of the lecture, the door was opened for questions and interventions, and the doctor responded to them and distributed signed copies of his book “Essays in Translation.” For students.
