University of Basrah organizes an international scientific symposium on the impact of environmental pollution on economic growth in Basrah
The University of Basrah organized the third global electronic and in-person scientific symposium on the impact of environmental pollution on economic growth in Basrah Governorate.
The symposium aimed to clarify the important factors in the impact of environmental pollution on the country's economic growth, as well as how to enhance the efficiency of Iraqi institutions.
The symposium, which was lectured by Dr. Tariq Tawfiq Youssef Al-Abdullah from the University of Basrah, and scholars and professors from European, Asian, American, and African universities, included concepts from different points of view about the types of environmental pollution and its risks, as well as its importance in the country’s economy by promoting economic growth along with how to avoid it. The symposium recommended the necessity of adopting solutions in a practical and realistic manner and linking them with the need to enhance economic growth stemming from enhancing the growth and performance of all institutions.
