The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled (The possibility of developing a dynamic expert system that combines the ISM and ANP systems in order to improve the performance of Iraqi government hospitals), in which Professor Dr. Hadi Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Imam, Head of the Administrative Business Administration Department, lectured.
The seminar aims to shed light on the performance of health organizations (government hospitals in Basra Governorate)
The discussion session discussed a proposal to improve the reality of health services and the possibility of applying expert systems, specifically the two systems (the Interpretative Structural Model (ISM) and the Analytical Network Process (ANP)) with the aim of reaching the best possible performance, which is reflected in patient satisfaction.
The episode touched on the fact that the aforementioned expert systems can work to reduce costs, quality of care, and reduce work routine, which will reflect positively on the performance of those government hospitals in Basra Governorate.
