Three teachers from the University of Basra participate in the 22nd International Conference of Natural and Applied Sciences held in Dubai The teaching staff, Professor Dr. Shukr Mahmoud, Department of Mathematics, College of Science, University of Basra, Dr. Faiza Lafta Hassan, Director of Graduate Studies, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Basra, and Dr. Nariman Azim, participated in the 22nd International Conference on Natural and Applied Sciences. Titled (Natural and Applied Sciences from One Development to Another), it was held in the United Arab Emirates - Dubai Dr. Faiza Lafta Hassan represented the University of Basra by providing a brief overview of the university Dr. Nariman Azim Al-Ghazi presented two research papers in participation with Dr. Ihsan Eidan Al-Simari, two lecturers from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra, at the conference. The first research is about studying the effect of flavonoid compounds isolated from black tea extract on the drug methotrexate, which stimulates liver toxicity in laboratory rats, and the second research is an analytical study of the hibiscus plant (tula) and its antioxidant power when used in meat processing from the College of Agriculture at the University of Basra.
