A teacher from the University of Basra participates in the membership of a scientific arbitration committee. A teacher in the Translation Department at the College of Arts at the University of Basra, Dr. Jassim Khalifa Sultan, participated in the arbitration committee for the English Language Olympiad for the year 2024. The competition included theatrical performances and poetic poems in the English language presented by some of the middle and high school students, such as Al-Kunooz and the Distinguished, to enhance Linguistic and cultural level of students. The winners were determined based on a set of criteria, the most important of which was the skill of speaking the English language and the societal benefit of the participants.
