A teacher at the University of Basra participates in the first international conference at Uruk University Hazem Saad Jabbar, a lecturer at the College of Dentistry at Basra University, participated in the first international conference of Uruk Private University, which was held in Baghdad for three days. The participation included presenting a research paper entitled (The antibacterial effect of some herbal extracts with chlorhexidine mouthwash against bacteria isolated from gingivitis). This study aims to evaluate some of the produced plant extracts available in local markets, as they have shown that they have good antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria isolated from the human mouth and compare them with chlorhexidine and anti-infection ciprofloxacin mouthwashes. It inhibited the growth of all bacteria tested in the study. Department of Media and Government Communication
